I prepare interview episodes at least 2-3 weeks in advance, and generally record “Wine Reads” a day or so before it posts. This was a Wine Reads week. Unfortunately, I have Covid and my voice is in no condition to record. I’m doing well overall, and plan on being back next week.
In the coming weeks, as a sneak preview (in no particular order), we have a great interview with Gene Pierce of Glenora Wine Cellars on Seneca Lake, and a myriad of producers and industry folks from both North Carolina and Texas. I captured some great footage and content in North Carolina’s Yadkin Valley, and my trip to the Texas Hill Country was inspirational in so many ways. Both regions impressed me with their wines, their hospitality, and their professionalism. Both regions are extraordinarily different at this point in time.
I took precautions, but Omicron must have got me.
